Summer is here and the days are long, but there's some grim and bloody beasts lurking in the dark showdown boards of our community! This week we have a blood soaked croc, a demonic swordsman, a keeper of heroic grounds, and the whole Black Knight family on display!
 

Florvas delivers with a bloodstained Crimson Croc inspired by the monster's ecology. The artist nails the fleshy pale skin tone that composes the skin and (finger) spine of the Crocodile. Scabrous coagulated blood decorates the body and base of the model. We can only assume that the blood is a sparkling cocktail of survivor, croc, and blood pool plasma. Very well executed, and we wish your survivors luck in their vain attempts at avoiding a terrifying end by the jaws of this monster!

NaoFrost’s Atnas has invaded the inner recesses of our mind and will soon be eating children in our nightmares. The macabre color choices and arachnid style shift Atnas away from resembling anything remotely human in the most delightful of ways. The organ red skin that transitions seamlessly into its in-hand infant is truly disgusting. The Swordsman’s robes are either a sickly shade of yellow or worse yet time worn with sweat and grime. A healthy caking of blood on the robes adds icing to this fruitcake. 

Estate heroes spend their days patrolling their dungeon entrances in order to make them more appealing for enterprising adventurers eager for a crawl and some loot. They are part salesperson and part tax enforcers. LARc RaY’s Estate Hero is painted beautifully, with meticulous detail given to the model’s flowing cape and hungry harehound. The eyes on both beings are quite impressive!

The loyal Black Knight and its dutybound squires have been set up in a lovely tableau by babyafrominipuf. The way the hues on the squire’s capes color coordinate with Black Knight’s suit is very charming. There’s a bevy of exquisite details on each model. Whether it be the metallic tones of Elle’s sword, textures on Cain’s boots, or the unforgettable smoke effect emanating from Iola’s Everburn.
