KDU#116 - HOLY LANDS

One of the earliest ideas explored in Kingdom Death, the Holy Lands are a vast walled domain of gleaming gold and white stone. It exists as a testament to the formless golden entity that creates the city and its residents as a monument to its own vanity.

Within the walls, the inhabitants form an intricate machine of flesh and metal, churning out countless creatures that make up the multitudes of the entity's corporeal form.

The Holy Lands are defended by forces of gaudy knights joined by armies of grotesque experiments. Manhunters roam outside the city walls, following the cruel inexorable purpose of the entity.

Propagation and birth are a endless system of creation and modification overseen by holy priests that manage the breeding program of surgically senseless monster Mothers, Grandmothers, and Wet Nurses.

The endemic White Lion is the herald of the golden entity, beautiful and vicious, these monsters are sacred beasts encouraged to roam freely, feasting upon the residents.

The Holy Lands teem with countless variants of magnificent and distorted life, each one a delusional mirror of the golden entity's aspirations.

This month we're celebrating the Holy Lands story, featuring new intricate visions presented in our first stunning shadow box, never-before-seen archival resin Holy Priests, an errant Lion Knight Scholar, painters scale Mothers, Lion Champions, and the Pillar Forge Priest to include a menace from the Holy Lands in your Monster campaign. A Forgot-ten bust and a new digital wanderer visiting the Dwelling to round out this month's releases.

Finally, our Pillar play guide arrives to highlight the role pillars play in Monster campaigns.

Community Spotlight

Flowers are blooming and so is Ashbloom, who is featured in this community spotlight in two forms by two different painters! We're also graced by an elegant dancer, and a grim Year 4 for the Play Test campaign.

Ashbloom on Mount

Ashbloom of Dedheim rides in the outskirts of the settlement atop her loyal steed, mercilessly spearing those who try to escape. AinOnline’s Ashbloom is true to the brutal nature of the character. She’s clad in steely grim armor while wielding a three pronged lance, love the skin tone on the steed, makes the beast look even more not of this world.

Demure Dancer

Our Bullet Dancer generic was so popular we decided to reimagine her in hard plastic as part of the first volume of Survivors of Death. Nt_eggie’s Bullet Dancer is crisp with fine details. The dangling medallions contrast brilliantly with the warm and cool tones of her hair and the stone on which she freely dances.

In Radiant Colors!

We have the whole crew here, Ashroot, Monday, Gnostin, Ashbloom (not of Dedheim), and of course the glowing Nuclear antelope itself! Each one of AngryOrk's survivors is just perfect, you can swipe on the reddit post to see them in better detail. It's so cool to finally see the Nukealope in color. Love the glowing radiation coming from the striation cervices in the model.

Cinematic Somatics

Play Test’s exceptionally produced cinematic People of the Dream Keeper campaign continues into lantern year 4! We’re just in time to watch them scrap with the Pariah. Will Artimus, Mortem, Virgil and Reilly successfully boot the disgraced speaker from the settlement? Or will the Pariah crush them under the point of its stiletto heel?

When will my order ship?

Shipping has been severely impacted by ongoing global logistics concerns. Please expect a longer time for your parcels to arrive.

High volume sales may cause shipping delays. Generally we pack and ship orders daily, however during new releases we estimate shipping delays up to 2 weeks. We apologize, please be kind to our team as they process and pack your order. Thank you!
