Finally!

It's Halloween again which means that this month we're spotlighting paints that are spooky, scary, and macabre. Very unusual for us we know! We have some Bone Eaters up their usual tricks, a party's worth of monsters, and an absolute treat of a Doll.

Skeleton Costumes

The sun is decidedly not out, but Califax’s Bone Eaters do in fact have their guns out! These bonito bone wearers, are donning their Halloween best! The artist displays technical mastery as every bit of definition on every muscle belly is perfectly defined through the contrasting scheme. The Boneeater’s warm skin tone allows for the flashes of color to pop even more. The females’ fiery hair and the scalpel wielder’s scarf are immediately eye-catching. 

Mammoth Eyes

Used_bees’ Gorm is judging you for deciding to hunt a level 1 Screaming Antelope again. The irritated quarry is coated in a radioactive hue. Has it accidentally knocked over a vat of uranium? Did it slip on its own vomit? Used_bees’ will have to fight it to find out! Terrific job on eye vessels and pupils. It looks too real!

Doll

A gift to a rich heiress, the Doll was thrown into the depths of the Rust Ocean for its constant grim foretelling. Inspired by mystical aesthetics of JPop artist Ado, Alvs117 makes use of a classic color palette to serve up a unique take on the porcelain doll look.

Check out this rogue’s gallery of KDM’s latest villains from none other than Matt Mercer! These monsters show off the artist’s patterning skills, especially those creepy crawly Frogdog legs. Seeing the Pariah level up throughout the slides was also a nice jumpscare!
