The new lantern year is upon us. Many belated happy New Years to all who celebrated on the 1st and a happy Year of the Snake to all those celebrating Lunar New Years! This year, we'd love to display new community paints of all dimensions. For your perusal, a masked singer, a grand challenger, a pair of portraits, and an atomic conclusion!

Let’s take a beat to appreciate ItsCaptainSalty’s unique take on the Smog armor set.  The mask effect on the model’s face is very unique. It's giving a chilling Venetian mask effect. This effect combined with the demure color palette and expert blending makes this an unforgettable paint. 

Born under a lantern eclipse, Guinevere was always hesitant to hunt. She showed her true battle prowess when her settlement was attacked. Texred’s Guinevere paint is superb. The painter displays elite precision with muted hues, nailing every pinpoint detail of the original Lokman Lam art. 

We loved watching this short from Puddleduckpond showcasing the couple’s connection to the game, and these absolutely exquisite paintings of the Butcher and Gold Smoke Knight. They used a combination of watercolor and ink. The little details on these nemesis’ faces are expertly done. It’s a real treat to see these monsters on canvas; we know they’ll make very handsome wall mounts. 

We all have that case of work in progress minis sitting on our shelves begging to be finished. Well Jaggerman put us all to shame by giving his already painted (well painted I might add) Dragon King a literal glow up. The painter upgraded his King with a hot new nuclear neon effect for the veins that run through the serpent chest, wings, and horns. Check out Jaggerman82's post and swipe to the end to see the original paint scheme.
