Gencon 2024 was an amazing opportunity to see our fans and make new crab-flavored memories around the game table. We are so grateful to everyone who came to see us in person. It was an energizing experience for Team Death!

This year, we ran our first event area with two Monster campaigns (featuring one survivor settlement and one arc survivor settlement) and two cinematic showdowns showcasing the Black Knight and the unreleased Pariah!

A huge thank you to our Volunteers of Death for joining Team Death. Your immense efforts guiding settlements, organizing mountains of materials, and interacting with our players helped us launch successfully into new territory at GenCon.  

We also brought some exciting new releases, anticipated products, and special GenCon pricing to the show that we want to share with all our fans who could not join us this year!

This month, we celebrate the many awesome ways Monster's survivors can expand the game with our inaugural Survivors of Death I, featuring an abundance of new rules and fresh models. Meanwhile, two new legendary characters grace the lantern light of the settlement. Command unparalleled mastery over weapons with Lantern Armor Aya, or follow Glow's entire survivor journey with both progressing mechanics and sculpts!

Making their photoresin debut, Questing Zachary and Questing Lucy add a little bit of high fantasy flare to our classic starting survivors. The Biomech Butcher is our latest exploration into the realms of Sci-Fi Kingdom Death. Golden Bat Hunter Foltron brings along a grand pair of beta cleavers and some golden dice to match. A new painters scale rendition of our Echoes of Death Paladin the perfect sculpts for hobbyists, painters, and collectors alike.

Patrons of the arts rejoice, new prints are now available featuring beloved and future artwork. And finally, celebrate the dawn of a new killennium in your very own Killennium Butcher t-shirt.

We loved meeting so many players and painters at our booth and playspace! Thanks again to the people who flew out to see us. Kingdom Death prominently featured in the Gencon Miniature Hobby Events painting contest! Congrats to PhDAdd for making the clean sweep! They took home Best in Large Category for their very handsome Death High Senior Allister, Silver went to a breathtaking Butcher Bust, and an intrepid Dark Soldier took home the Gold. Excellent work!

Survivors of Death 1 is a celebration of Kingdom Death using systems introduced by the Gambler’s Chest Expansion to level up your play experience while bringing Azure Fighter, Bullet Dancer, Hospitalar and Investment Sniper to the Kingdom Death canon. Actionken’s Survivors of Death are busting with bright color. The contrasts on each model's apparel to hair to footwear make each feature pop.

Morgan is KDM’s first official pin-up remake. Originally illustrated in 2011, she is now brought into KD:M canon as a hard plastic dreaming savior. Acidalia_minis’ goal was to give Morgan an ‘E-Girl’ look, and I can confidently say we would sub to her stream. The half and half hair with glowing green light illuminating Morgan’s curves make her unforgettable. 

Usagi is a particularly eager and curious Lagomorph who earned herself the Blessing of the Red Eyed Witch. T4llyh0s’ Usagi has brilliant red accents to match her blessing. Even her Lagobond Nails are sporting the eyes of an ultimate predator. Splendid coloring on the model, especially the skin which has just a hint of blushing to match Lokman’s original art. 

There’s quite a few impressive details in Shades of Decay’s Gambler. For example, the trim on the cloak and a custom base that features pottery with a bowl of little tiny d10s with the correct numbering and everything. However, the most impressive by far is the fact that every single muscle, joint, and facial feature of every single dreamer in the Gambler’s ball is individually painted. Just an absolutely breathtaking feat. We can only wonder if each body has a name as well.
